I am aware that I am socially awkward. Hard to smile. And stubborn at times.
But I have charisma, steadfast and I am loyal. I was a platoon leader for Alpha company when I served in the national service. I am the right guy you want on your team to survive any doomsday apocalypse.
My motto is , to dream big, always be grateful and never give up.
Alhamdulillah on July the 9th I finally completed my mission, not as perfect as I have promised but I get the job done.
I always remember that someone who likes to call me a loser. Always motivates me to keep going on and be a winner.
Now I am just a technician. In five years time, operation restaurant tasek indah will be my major success.

The fate of a person, the family, the country, the world and the universe.
As important as the general elections are, two days after the historical event in Malaysia will be a turning point to this particular person. The main character of the great book, his own book. Life is a test, and there are always decisions to be made. Good or bad, right or wrong, there is no time for regret.
Life is the journey of baby sea turtles trying to survive the migration of 8000miles to the ocean. Left to fend for themselves as they go through obstacles on the beach and in the ocean. Many will face death before reaching destination, such is the rule of life.
A quote from a strong willed commander, (where she quoted it from Al-Baqarah verse:286)
"Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned".
To all young baby sea turtles who are preparing to exit the beach and into the ocean. Broken bones can be mended, Can broken hearts too? In specific where hearts broken before the time you find Mr. Right. Yes you can. I promise you, in 5, 6 more years if you look back you'll smile for the adventures you've encounter in your youth, at it's peak. For other exciting and challenging adventures will keep busy. All the bitterness will end when you conceive a child. For 9 to 10 months it will be painful and hard. But it is a war to end all wars. All the victories in your life is nothing compared to your firstborn child.
Broken hearts can be mended. It is possible and can be done.
But, you can never mend a mother's broken heart, and a man's broken ambition.

let go and choose a better one
Every so often we come a cross a moment where we ask ourselves, had we done the right choice? Was that a mistake?
I find myself coming across those moments too often that I am just tired of it. So really really tired of it that i realize we are not suppose to regret nor criticize our past, instead its about making it a better decision now, as in right this moment. So what if its a mistake, so what if it was great choice, it is the past that you have 'been there, done that' and you cant go back and undo nor can you re-do. Its great to look back to remind ourselves but nothing more. Plus, you gotta admit some mistakes are necessary to make our lives more interesting I mean we get wiser with time. - or not;totally a personal choice.
When things happen, its fate, never 'just a coincidence; it always has a reason or reasons, so let the past be your fate, and allow a better future to take place, make your fate happen as a result better reasons.
He broke your heart, so let it be. But do not let your future 'Mr.Right' go just because you had to go on wandering about your past- where did I go wrong, was I too emotional? Clingy?- STOP THAT. All that has already been decided by fate.
So you messed up at your last office, stop visiting them and reminisce how you could have done better. Make a better choice now, lookout for incoming tests!
In short, people make mistake, the difference is whether he or she is gonna just sit there and be sorry for him or herself or stand up and say, 'right this moment, better choices are happening!' and actually does it.

Has anything you've done make your life better..
It's 5:40 am and in about one minute I'm going to watch the sun come up.
I don't know if I've ever done that. Anyway, we're going to try to pick things up, and start over.
It won't be easy but we're all together again.
And I feel good. I'm not sure if this paper is what you wanted, if I hit the social significance or whatever you're looking for. But, for what it's worth, thanks a lot.
So I guess this is where I tell you what I learned.
My conclusion, right?
Well, my conclusion is: hate is baggage.
Life's too short to be pissed off all the time.
It's just not worth it.
Derek says it's always good to end a paper with a quote.
Says someone else has already said it best so if you can't top it, steal from them and go out strong.
So I picked a guy I thought you'd like.
"We are not enemies, but friends.
We must not be enemies.
Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.
The mystic cords of memory will swell when again touched, as they surely will be,
by the better angels of our nature."
-Danny's conclusion, American history X.

Kerja and amal same ah?
What does 'kerja' means in arabic?
It is 'amal', where I learned recently from a motivation talk by Ustaz Apandi, in a seminar organised by Etiqa takaful. Every little thing we do is a work, no matter what the intentions are.
Oh, there is so much to share, from what I have heard from the talk. The most important point in the seminar, a tip given from En. Danial was that in life. One must have a purpose, or 'matlamat hidup'. What ever one wishes in life. Write, plan in down stick it on your work station, in your car , or wherever. So that everyday one will be always know what his or her life ambition are. Auto suggestion in the mind, say it out loud everyday, 'masin mulut' and you'll get it.
Happens to me when I wish for a sega 16-bit. I remember that I was 10 years old. Accompanied ibu to Stirling for her PhD. Before I sleep, staring at the ceiling and keep repeating that I want a sega 16-bit. The next day we went to car boot sale and I got the game. For half the price, we managed to get away with the price before the real owner shows up. Alhamdulillah.
It was a long time ago. The console was nowhere to be found, probably was given to someone else. I missed those sega games. Even though the graphic and the gameplay is nowhere near today gaming standards, some things can't be replaced. All those sweet memories.
Back to what I want to share from the seminar, the importance of having 'matlamat hidup' is like this. Imagine the genie from Aladin inquire you three wishes. What are your wishes? It happens impromptu. Obscure goals will lead you to something else, whilst too late and the genie leaves you. Such is the significance of having a clear goal in life.

Westerners don't like wet bums
What makes a winner.
A winner is someone who can turn a bad situation, find any advantages and willing to take the blows and survive. A winner can work in stress situations, doesn't blame other but struggles to find a solution and survives.
Adapt, improvise, overcome
